In late November, QMC Port Coquitlam participated in QMC’s annual Day of Caring initiative, where staff members volunteered their time with Share Food Bank, a local non-profit organization.
La SHARE Food Bank provides direct food support to supplement the diets of hundreds of individuals and families each week in the Tri-Cities. We believe people should have access to healthy and nutritious food where they live and in a dignified manner.
It was a great team building exercise to see staff members working in sync to efficiently sort through over 500 lbs of donations from local food drives.
