New Trends in Submetering of Commercial, Institutional and Industrial Properties

Mike Easton of QMC will be presenting a session at Energy in Action on new trends in electricity submetering technology, communications, infrastructure, and reporting software options. He will discuss the initial planning and design of a ‘good’ submetering system, inclusion of the relevant stakeholders, and best practices for ensuring the new systems are used to maximize the reduction in energy consumption and demand. Specific applications will include: key-load metering, tenant metering, electric vehicle (EV) station metering, integration of existing meters, and metering for LEED of BOMA BESt purposes.  Energy in Action takes place on Wednesday, September 21. There is still time to register and spend the day with energy experts. Mike’s session is 9:30 – 10:15 a.m.
