Billing Services Administrator

QMC Metering Solutions supplies and integrates several meter technologies’ to provide sub-metering systems to effectively monitor the consumption of electricity, water, gas and thermal meters. We have offices in Port Coquitlam, Calgary, and Toronto and has a support and distribution network across the country including Edmonton and Montreal.

We have an opportunity for an energetic individual with utility/property management experience with administrating tenant agreements, payments and respective banking transactions. Reporting to the Billing Services Manager, the Billing Services Administrator

Responsibilities

QMC Metering Solutions supplies and integrates several meter technologies’ to provide sub-metering systems to effectively monitor the consumption of electricity, water, gas and thermal meters. We have offices in Port Coquitlam, Calgary, and Toronto and has a support and distribution network across the country including Edmonton and Montreal.

  • Data entry of tenant information into billing software
  • Import data, generate reports, and invoices
  • Send invoices to tenants and clients
  • Manage tenant billing and payments
  • Create EFT batch files and upload to bank
  • Create client reports and reconcile payments
  • Report and reconcile bank, GST, and PST trust accounts
  • Communicate with internal client groups as well as landlords and/or other real estate professionals
  • Provide outstanding customer service with internal and external customers
  • Demonstrate a positive work ethic
  • Maintain a professional image and demeanor with team members and stakeholders
Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in experience working in a utility/property management environment

  • Bookkeeping experience (invoicing experience preferred)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to identify, plan, organize, prioritize and execute work in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be fluent in English
  • Highly skilled in a Windows Office environment, knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, a must
  • A positive and friendly manner with a customer service approach that enables the ability to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity
  • Punctual, reliable and mature team player who is able to work without direct supervision.
